Household support
Shopping, cleaning of agreed living areas, laundry and other household tasks.

Who is this for?
Household support is for people who find shopping, cooking, or laundry increasingly difficult, and for family members who have been shouldering these tasks on top of everything else. It is often the gentlest way to begin accepting help: no hands-on personal care, just a reliable helping hand around the house that makes each day noticeably easier. It is also a real help in the first weeks after a hospital stay: the household keeps running while your strength returns.
What we take care of
Shopping and errands based on your list and your preferred brands, not a standard template. If you prefer, we accompany you to the shops rather than doing the shopping for you.
Cleaning the agreed living areas regular and thorough, in the rooms that matter most to you.
Laundry care washing, hanging up, folding, and ironing, as agreed with you. Fresh laundry in the wardrobe keeps everyday life feeling normal.
Meals preparing simple meals and helping make sure that regular eating and drinking are part of every day.
Everyday order changing bed linen, taking out the rubbish, watering the flowers, the small things that hold a home together.
An attentive eye we notice when supplies are running low or something in the household has changed, and we let you and the care team know.
Small tasks along the way bringing in the post, putting dishes away, a quick check of the supplies. A well-run household is made up of many small things, and we take care of those too.
A focus on hygiene the bathroom and kitchen receive special attention, because cleanliness there does the most for your health.
How it works
First conversation
Tell us where the household weighs on you: by phone, WhatsApp or the care enquiry.
Home visit
Together, at your home, we agree which areas and tasks we take over.
A steady rhythm
We come regularly and dependably, and adjust the support whenever your needs change.
Here too, everything starts with a free initial conversation: you show us what needs doing around the house, we listen, and together we agree on what we take over. That conversation turns into a clear arrangement: which rooms, which tasks, what rhythm. We put it in writing so both sides know where they stand, and we adjust it whenever your everyday life changes. Fixed times and fixed responsibilities are part of it for us, because a household runs on reliability.
If the funding runs through the relief amount under § 45b SGB XI, the care grade decision letter is all it takes; we handle the billing with the care fund wherever that is possible. For in-kind care benefits from care grade 2 upwards, the same principle applies within the approved budget. What you need is manageable: health insurance card, care grade letter and a short conversation about what you would like. If you are unsure whether your relief amount is already being used, we are happy to check together.
An honest offer includes its limits: we keep the household running to the agreed extent, but we are not a removal company or a specialist cleaning firm. Deep cleans after renovation, window cleaning at height or garden work are not part of household support. If a task falls outside our remit, we say so openly rather than taking it on half-heartedly; in return, everything that keeps daily life going stays reliably in one pair of hands.
Common questions about this service
Can I get household help without any nursing care?
Yes. Many of our clients begin exactly this way: just shopping, cleaning, or laundry at first. If more support becomes necessary later, the care simply grows with you, and the familiar faces stay the same.
Is it available from care grade 1?
Yes, through the relief amount under § 45b SGB XI, which every care grade is entitled to. It is not paid out to you in cash; instead, it is billed directly through us as a recognised provider. We are happy to check with you whether your amount is already being used.
How often do you come to the house?
As often as your daily life requires: for many clients once a week, for others more frequently. We set the rhythm together and keep it predictable, so you always know when to expect us.
Do you clean the whole home?
We clean the living areas we have agreed on together, meaning the rooms you use every day. Deep cleaning and window cleaning at height are not included; exactly what has been agreed is documented transparently in your service record.
Can household support be combined with personal care?
Yes, that works well together: a single visit can combine personal care and household tasks, or we can spread them across the week. In the initial consultation, we work out together how the individual services fit within your budget.
